“Vertikal”, the new system for vertical sliding doors with Indamatic, among the main innovations of the furniture fittings manufacturing firm

Indaux participated in the 2009 edition of the Interzum fair in Cologne, a key biannual meeting of the auxiliary furniture industry. The over 300 national and international visitors who passed by the Basque manufacturer’s stand could check the new product proposals revolving around the Indamatic concept of harmonious cushioned self-closing.
These are the most prominent innovations that were exhibited at the German fair.
“Vertikal”: soft-closing for vertical sliding doors
Indaux has also presented its new “Vertikal” fitting for vertical doors at Interzum which incorporates Indamatic self-closing system. It is a synchronised vertical opening and closing system prepared for 600 and 700mm high modules which provides total access to the interior of the piece of furniture, this makes it an ideal mechanism for both kitchen and home furniture.
Universal damper for drawers and runners
Indaux now extends its Indamatic system to all types of drawers and runners, which can be added after the purchase of the furniture, even in the most economical runners and drawers. With a very simple installation, any drawer can be converted into soft-close thanks to Indamatic. This characteristic is now available in the manufacturer’s catalogue for the “Gacela” (rollers) and “Cisne” (ball bearings) runners, as well as for the “Supraplex” and “Supra” metal drawers and the “Combi” and “Under-oven” plastic moulded drawers.
“Europa-2”, the most versatile twin-walled drawer
The low modules in new kitchens have a greater number of drawers, baskets and pull-out doors, elements which allow for a greater storage capacity and ergonomics. Indaux’s new “Europa-2” drawer programme responds to this rapid penetration of the kitchen drawer since it is a very functional twin-walled drawer, with twelve modulations of up to 1200mm, three depths (270, 480 and 600mm.) and three finishes (plastic coated steel, stainless steel and plastic, which can be personalised), which provides kitchen designers greater flexibility. The “Europa-2” drawer incorporates a full extension runner equipped with Indamatic, the cushioned self-closing system by Indaux, which allows up to 50 kg. of load, to maximise comfort and silence.
The “Europa-2” range has an infinite number of options and complementary accessories: deep and shallow drawers, drawer with dividing system, with rails, modular cutlery inserts, pan dividers, separators to organise space, plate racks… with which to obtain a space for each type of object or product in the kitchen.
Another virtue of the “Europa-2”, which its predecessor system “Europa” already has, is the cost savings on storage and installation since it is a single piece drawer and it does not have to be built (it is installed directly), which in addition, avoids the possible inexactness of the furniture that could jeopardise the quality and the smooth running of the drawer.
“Junior-6”: now also for sloped ceilings
“Junior-6” is the Indaux solution for made-to-measure cupboards with sliding doors. Its use is especially indicated in all types of installations where any measures are possible, suitable for new houses or renovation. In addition, it does not require any special machinery.
As a novelty, “Junior-6” system for made-to-measure cupboards can now be used on attic walls and ceilings to maximise space. The new application of the “Junior-6”, which also incorporates Indamatic soft-closing, was also presented at the last Construmat fair (Barcelona) where Indaux also participated.
The “Junior-6” programme has also been enriched recently with the incorporation of new handles, more in tune with the latest furniture trends.
