Everything ready for the IWF Fair in Atlanta

standIndaux, an ironwork manufacturer present in 80 countries with over 2,000 clients, will be participating in the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) held between the 24 and the 27 of August in Atlanta. This is the fourth time that the Indaux brand has participated in this fair, although this year there are two important pieces of news: for the first time, it is going as Indaux United States, after opening the American subsidiary in High Point – North Carolina – the furniture industry’s hub. The state of North Carolina is home to 25% of furniture manufacturing in the USA.

The second piece of news is that Indaux will be sharing a stand with the German brand Vauth Sagel, with whom it already shares a warehouse and logistics. Both brands, which are complementary in the products that they offer to the American market, decided to increase their synergies in the commercial field, as well. Aware that strength comes in numbers, Indaux and Vauth Sagel will be occupying a 150m2 stage, with a large showroom area and comfortable furniture space to serve clients.

The products that will be exhibited include the Junior-6 sliding doors, the double-walled drawers, Ariane and Attraction and the spiral assemblies and centring components for drawers.

Indaux’s main draw for the American market lies in its extraordinary flexibility, adapting ironwork to the local products, its quick response time and its vast knowledge of the market, drawing support from Werner Bosch who has been working for the ironwork industry for 30 years.

Indaux USA has set reinforcing its sales network with a solid team of multi-brand representatives as a short-term goal. Mid-term, the goal is to multiply its sales in the United States by five. Perspectives on the American market, with 300 million inhabitants, are hopeful. After leaving the years of financial and real estate crisis behind, it has begun to recover and is somewhere around 110 billion dollars.

Indaux, at the 20th Organisation Engineering Conference of Donostia

Donostia hosted the 20th Organisation Engineering Conference, founded by the School of Engineers of the University of Navarra, Tecnun. This year, the motto was “laying bridges between researchers and professionals” and the mission was to promote bonds between both collectives from different industrial engineering and management areas.

Along with other large industrial companies in Gipuzkoa, Indaux has sponsored this meeting held between the 13 and the 15 of July, bringing together main worldwide organisations for development of Organisation Engineering, as well as the AIM (European Academy for Industrial Management).

Indaux supports Gipuzkoa’s SMEs with internationalisation strategy.

In 2014, the Regional Government of Gipuzkoa implemented a strategy to strengthen internationalisation for small companies. The initiative supports internationalisation projects led by large companies in Guipuzkoa associated with SMEs who lack projection beyond our borders. This year, the programme mobilised five driving-force companies that will be collaborating with 72 SMEs. Last year, one of the projects was led by Indaux (Getaria).
