Maderalia 2018: expectations fulfilled

The 36th edition of the Fimma Maderalia fair, held in Valencia from the 6^th to the 9^th of February, satisfactorily fulfilled Indaux’s expectations. An important number of key and potential customers from Spain & Portugal visited the stand to review the latest innovations, such as the Traser-6 and Scarpi-4 anti-tilt cabinet hangers, the Komplet full-extension concealed runner, the Frontal Cabinets System, the Attractive Drawer and the 35mm Spiral steel cam.

The 320M2 stand, presented the latest fittings, designed and manufactured by Indaux, in modern furniture, using displays and explanatory posters, promoting the strength and image of a European Industrial Manufacturer dedicated to solving the needs of its customers with state of the art products. Indaux went to Maderalia with the aim of promoting the National and European market and has recently strengthened its sales network, with the addition of new agents in the South Central zone, José Pablo Jiménez Salamanca; North Central zone, José Manuel Castillo; and Castilla y León, Agustín Prieto.

Xabier Erentxun, Sales Executive, summarizes the success of Maderalia: “The Show has a new breath of optimism, thanks to the recovery of the market and the sales team had many requests to quote for new projects and develop fittings. Our customers were positive impressed with the latest innovations and in the coming months we will respond to these exciting new challenges”.

First participation in the Eurobois fair

Indaux was present for the first time at Eurobois, the most important trade fair in the sector in France, which this year was held in Lyon between 6 and 9 February. “The aim of Indaux was to detect new opportunities in a market where the contract sector presents a real dynamism in which many medium-sized companies converge. Our participation has allowed us to obtain close to a hundred new contacts, strengthen the visibility of the brand and generate interest in our solutions, “says Miren Garay, Sales Manager France.

The stand has had a wide range of product in slides, drawers, hinges … although this time the special anti-tilt coat hanger Scarpi 4 Anti-Tilt has been of special interest, whose safety is activated automatically in the assembly process. And it is that this hardware was part of the “journey of news” of Eurobois and had a prominent place among the novelties of the fair. In addition, Indaux was selected as the company interviewed for the fair balance video.

Gautier, Indaux´s partner, best brand according to Capital magazine

KUBE_J37 085_amb Our partner Gautier, French designer and manufacturer of contemporary furniture, has been chosen by Capital magazine as the best brand in the “Home appliances” category. It is a recognition to the brand, but also to the quality of its product and its customer service. This is the second consecutive year that Gautier is recognized with this distinction. Gautier equips a large part of its furniture with Indaux fittings. In the photograph, a coffee table equipped with the Delta liftable compass, with the 25mm eccentric with double spiral and with our Mesuco 131X Rapid hinge.

From Indaux to Nasa

Being a student at Tecnun, Iker Liceaga spent two summers doing internships at Indaux and completed his final project in the Operations department. Specifically, he developed a computer solution to optimize the truck and container loading plan, which was integrated with the company’s ERP. In addition to the plan, he made the user’s guide and trained the employees so that they could manage this program.

The people who work with him notice quickly then that this student would go far. Only a year and a half after leaving Indaux Iker Liceaga is working on a NASA heliophysics project, where he will help launch a satellite for the analysis of solar radiation. Before joining Goddard Space Flight Center of NASA (Maryland), Iker Liceaga went through the prestigious Media Lab of the Technological Institute of Masachussets (MIT), where he was part of a research group that designed a hyperefficient capsule to improve sleep and relaxation.
