During the recent 2011 SICAM fair, Indaux and Perin signed a new distribution agreement to deepen its business relationship. From now on, Indaux’s products will be sold under the INDAUX ITALIA brand in Italy, reinforcing its commitment and presence in this important market.
Perin has worked with Indaux for over 20 years and this agreement lies within the framework of a strategy to strengthen its collaboration with distributors.

Indaux participated in the SICAM Expo fair which was held from the 19 to 22 of October in the Italian town of Pordenone. In only three editions, this event has become an essential visit for the furniture sector; in addition, the fair is located in an area where over 40% of the Italian furniture industry is concentrated.
ARIANE drawer, design and functionality
Indaux exhibited ARIANE, its new drawer composition system with a minimalist concept and straight lines which offers multiple options in home organization. Its three side heights (85, 115 and 170 mm.), makes it a versatile and flexible system while trying to make the most of space.
Visitors to the Indaux stand could also see the different applications of INDAmatic soft-closing in drawers and closet systems; as well as the ATLAS system, its celebrated fixation system for heavy loads in suspended kitchens and bathroom cabinets.

The rowing season ended well for the two Indaux Group boats. The female team was the winner in the second edition of the Liga Guipuzcoana de Traineras (Rowing boat league of Guipuzcoa). In addition to being the winners of the Euskotren League, they finished second in La Concha regatta, three seconds behind the boat from Galicia.
For their part, the men’s team achieved first place at the ARC Play Off, ensuring their ascent to the ARC I rowing boat league. The boat sponsored by Indaux and the Gourmet Okin Group, finished in second place, three points behind Busturialdea in the ARC II league after achieving five consecutive victories.

Last spring, Indaux donated batches of various discontinued products to ACOES Honduras for the projects to prepare schools which this organization has started in this Central American country. The material was sent in a container with pre-school tables and chairs donated by the town hall of Zarautz. The majority went to the Popularum School where the same children who attend class also live there, with the aim to guarantee their correct schooling.
ACOES was officially created on the 6th December 1996 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, although different delegations to support and strengthen its work have been created in Spain. ACOES works in coordination with the conviction that comprehensive education of the individual is the base to escape extreme poverty. In the Basque Country ACOES have two local offices: at Zarautz and Vitoria-Gazteiz.
