As in previous years, Ezdoor, representative for the Indaux do Brasil brand, has organised together with Indaux a new reverse trade mission of buyers and managers of Brazilian furniture companies with the aim to raise awareness of the Indaux’s global offer. The visitors toured the manufacturing facilities of the Basque firm and had the opportunity to discover its latest products, in order to strengthen existing commercial ties and convey their needs. These are the Brazilian companies that visited the Getaria headquarters: Unicasa Moveis, Formus, Bahia closet, Segatto, Dedicatto Mobilia, and Linea Doro.

With over 50 years dedicated to the manufacture of technological solutions for the furniture industry, Indaux is developing its plan to expand its presence in the North American market, as it was evident at the International Woodworking Fair (IWF), which was held last August in the city of Atlanta, United States. The IWF fair is one of the world’s largest trade shows for the furniture and general woodworking industries, and a must-go for those interested in the U.S. market.

AAsier Lizaso, Sales Executive, explains “Indaux has consolidated its brand and market position with the European style manufacturers of the United States, mostly from California, Florida and the New York area, with products like our cabinet hangers, the ARIANE twin-walled drawer and also midrange drawer systems such as the SUPRA. This has resulted in increased sales figures, and the next phase is to enhance our warehousing services to meet the varied needs of our clients. We also plan the development of specific products for the typical American cabinet.”

This year Indaux, as Nover’s leading supplier, was the main sponsor of the Nover Star Partner, the loyalty program of the Australian firm, which was held in Vanuatu, an island nation located in the South Pacific Ocean. Every year and for several days, Nover’s commercial network and its major customers meet in a top destination in the region to strengthen relationships and enhancen synergies in a relaxed atmosphere.

Nover, the new Indaux Australian distributor, introduced last summer its new general catalogue, which includes an extensive representation of the Basque company fittings range: from hinges to sliding door systems such as the JUNIOR family; sliding systems or drawer systems such as ARIANE or ATTRACTION and many other Made in Indaux products.

Nover will also launch brochures with specific information about the advantages and applications of the different Indaux fittings. It is noteworthy that the three main Indaux drawers range of drawers: ARIANE, ATTRACTION and SUPRA INDAmatic are achieving great success on the Australian market

Indaux announced last year the distribution agreement with Nover, allowing Nover to commercialise furniture solutions from the Basque firm throughout the Australian territory. Nover is probably the furniture components distributor with the most presence and offer on the Australian market, with 12 branches of its own, 2 distribution centres in Sydney and Brisbane, in addition to an extensive distribution network.

The 26th edition of the Mebel fair will be held from 24 to 28 November in Moscow, and once again Indaux will be present with all its novelties in collaboration with Ametist Corp., its Russian partner. Mebel fair is the main event of the furniture and components sector in Russia and Eastern Europe and last year attracted nearly 40,000 visitors and 890 exhibitors from 37 countries.

With the participation in Mebel, Indaux concludes its exhibition schedule for this year, with events across five continents, being the most relevant: Maderalia (Valencia, Spain), Sicam (Italy), Interieurbouw (Netherlands), the International Woodworking Fair (Atlanta, USA), M&M (Colombia) Guangzhou Interzum and Kitchen&Bath (China) or Star Partners (Australia).

The Basque company, at a very busy Pordenone show, displayed its latest proposals for the furniture industry

Indaux was again present at Sicam, the largest and most complete fair of the components sector in Italy and the second most important international event.

Mikel Arzallus, Indaux Commercial Director: “Sicam has proven to be an attractive exhibition with visitors eager for new solutions. Indaux offers this type of client one of the largest ranges on the market, with recent innovations like the ALBATROS lift-up systems with INDAmatic for high wall units, or the new system of light sliding doors for high kitchen modules, together with updated classics such as the SISTEMA-4, now for sliding doors up to 75 kg, with minimum opening force or the TRASER-6 hanger enhanced with active safety, anti-tilt effect.”

The furniture fittings manufacturer firm from Getaria also exhibited other products of its extensive portfolio, such as ARIANE, the new double walled drawer system; the ATLAS system for heavy loads in suspended lower furniture; the ATTRACTION drawer and different examples of INDAmatic soft-close applied a standard or as an option. The increase in visitors confirmed the interest aroused by Indaux latest creations and Sicam´s current acceptance.

Regarding the booth design, Indaux has continued to focus on the use of bright corporate colours, allowing product highlights.

Indaux began as Industrias Auxiliares in Getaria in 1962, working as a small machinery workshop specialising in making furniture components. Nowadays, INDAUX leads the furniture fitting sector in Spain and has become a benchmark brand internationally, working in more than 70 countries with over 2000 customers around the globe.
