Indaux is looking forward to this first post-pandemic face-to-face meeting, which will be held between October 12 and 15. We will show in Pordenone our catalog of products manufactured in Europe. “As the dates get closer, we are confirming more assistances from our clients. It is time to consolidate and open opportunities for collaboration, and to expand the Indaux family,” says Asier Lizaso, Indaux Commercial Director.
The furniture industry is carefully preparing for the first major fair event to be held physically after the pandemic. After months of virtual meetings, Sicam Pordenone will reopen its doors between October 12 and 15, 2021. Indaux will occupy its usual place at the Pordenone fairgrounds and its stand will be B-15, in Hall-5.
The company will show customers its ability to offer flexible, simple and smart solutions. And it will showcase the most current versions of its product portfolio and the latest developments that have been perfected during these months. Among others, the Attractive drawer range, the Traser 6, Traser 8 and Scarpi 4 range of anti-tilt hangers; the Komplet full extension runner, the Atlas system for suspended furniture and the INDAmatic sliding door damper with 120 mm run.
Our Delta x3 strut is a mechanical compass for folding tables of up to 10 kg. The technology of the Delta x3 combines a brake system with a locking system making a gradual opening possible, preventing sudden drops. During assembly, the intermediate positioning angle of the door can be adjusted in any position. Since its introduction on the market, we have been working on the perfection of silent and gradual opening and closing. With a nickel-plated zamak finish, its unique design makes it a stylish and robust component.

Among the key solutions presented at Pordenone, were the Anti-Tilt Hangers: Traser 6, Traser 8, Scarpi 4: The Komplet Full Extension 2.0 soft close Concealed Runner; Delta X3 lift for heavy doors; the Atlas solution for suspended furniture; the Mesuco 131X Titanium Hinge Range and the Smart Steel Clock Cam as an economic alternative to the zamak produced product, but with the same features. The Sliding door Systems, Junior CO and FoldN for cabinets were also on show: The FoldN, Folding Door System, has an improved profile and upper cart for a smoother feel. The Junior CO allows you to convert any cupboard into a coplanar by adding components to the already successful Junior 6 sliding door product.
Indaux has been as exhibitor at the Leroy Merlin Internal Suppliers Fair, which took place from September 24 to 26 in Paris. Leroy Merlin has made an ambitious commitment to this edition, radically changing the format of the fair and making the leap from its facilities in Lille to the site of Porte de Versailles, one of the most important in France. They company has bring together all their national collaborators in the kitchens and storage section, organize workshops and work groups, and open the participation to the fair to a greater number of suppliers.
The objective of the suppliers who attend this event is to present innovative solutions to the sales teams of Leroy Merlin France, so that it can detect and choose news for future developments of its own ranges.
For this occasion Indaux presented its solutions for kitchen and storage, such as the Junior-CO coplanar cabinet; the Deltax3 folding compass; and the range of visible and hidden hangers with Anti-Tilt security system.

In addition, it allows us to share experiences with other suppliers and continue to improve the value we can bring to Leroy Merlin.
One year on, Indaux has attended one of the most important trade fairs of the sector in Asia, which was attended by more than 100,000 visitors in Shanghai. The stand of our distributor, Forome, had a modern design and exhibited the Delta lifters, the Atlas system for suspended kitchens and bathrooms, the Traser 6 and Scarpi 4 hangers and the Impulse buttons.
On behalf of Forome, the Kitchen & Bath 2019 stand was attended by its sales personnel, as well as by its General Manager Han Lei and by the Deputy Gen Manager Dennis Zheng. On behalf of Indaux, Forome was joined by Iñigo Sagarna, Area Sales Manager, and Vicky Lee, Indaux’s Chief Representative Officer in China.
The Indaux team has returned satisfied from Interzum, the top trade fair for suppliers in the furniture industry, recently held in Cologne, where Indaux has been going for three decades. This year the event was attended by 70,000 visitors from more than 150 countries, with an 80% foreign presence.
In spite of facing a financial and consumption outlook that is far from positive for the second half of the year, the sales department is optimistic about the possibilities that have opened up and see it viable to meet the set target. An impression that the various teams that have worked on the stand have confirmed: sales, technical, Indaux India, Indaux USA and the delegates from countries such as Portugal, England, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Korea and China.
““More customers have visited the stand at the fair than the last 10 years, and top international customers have sought us out. We have come back from the event with a lot of work to do in the coming months”, said Mikel Arzallus, Sales and Marketing director at Indaux.
The enclosed stand format chosen contributed to generating a pleasant atmosphere, where personalised attention was a priority. This year, the reception consisted of a screen on which images of the Indaux industrial installations were projected, as well as various product videos.
As regards the product, among the solutions for cabinets, special interest was shown in the FOLD N sliding doors, the INDAmatic-120 damper and the runner for the Junior CO coplanar cabinets. In drawers, the Ariane, in its various versions, was the star. The Traser 6/8 and Scarpi 4 anti-tilt hangers generated interest due to the new European regulations on furniture safety. Lastly, two products stood out due to their competitiveness and high performance: the steel 35 eccentric clock and the Komplet runner.
The last week of March saw an intense marketing activity of Indaux with it being present at three international trade fairs.
Interzum Guangzhou is the main meeting point for customers from the entire Asian continent, and Indaux went along with its distributor in China, Forome. “This event allowed us to deepen our knowledge on this enormous market and was the perfect occasion to meet the large manufacturers from the area. The industrial potential and product development capacity of Indaux was very highly valued by these large industrial companies” explained Iñigo Sagarna, the Asia & Pacific Sales Manager. In addition to the Indaux solution for hanging furniture with the Atlas, Traser 6 and Scarpi 4 systems, which are increasingly demanded in the Asian market, also noteworthy was the high assessment of the folding doors and the various drawer and lifting system solutions.
Held in Rio Grande do Sul, Fimma 2019 is the most important fair in South America and Indaux was present together with its distributor in Brazil, Ezdoor. “At this event, we presented a new and updated image, with a novel stand concept that allowed the visitor to see the great range of solutions that Indaux offers at a single glance, and appreciate its contribution as regards safety and functionality. Based on Brazil’s economic recovery expectations, we predict that 2019 will be another year of growth for us in the area”, said Pablo Arratibel, Foreing Subsidiaries Manager of Indaux. At this fair, the visitors were interested in the solutions for hanging furniture, specifically the Traser 6 AV and Scarpi 4 AV, which comply with the latest European furniture safety standards; the Komplet runner, which provides functionality and democratisation to the concealed runner segment; the new D35 cam fitting manufactured in steel, which is more price competitive; and the new sliding door systems, Junior 6 and Sistema 4.
Lastly, Indaux was present at the Tecnomebel Fair in Sofia, where visitors were above all interested in the Traser6, Atlas and Scarpi4 hanger range, the Ariane drawer and Komplet runner. This was the first time Indaux had taken part in this fair, and resulted from of a recent signing of an agreement with KSH, a distributor in the component and panel market in Bulgaria for the last 20 years, which decided to broaden its portfolio and also offer fittings to its 800 customers in the country.
Our distributor for Israel, Montekyo & Rog., has recently visited the Indaux headquarters to learn about our facilities and processes, as well as to analyze in depth the catalog to expand its portfolio.
Montekyo & Rog has historically marketed our fittings for cabinets: Junior-1, System-4 and Junior-6. Since mid-2017 the range has been extended with hinges and eccentrics. Soon they will expand their show room, where they will also install out hangers anti tilt Scarpi-4 and Traser-6, push button Impulse, the Komplet slider and the Ariane drawer. And, probably, also the new coplanar wardrobe system on door supported, Junior CO.
The people who attended were Eliran Rog, manager and owner, and his commercial / technician Meni Ben Simon. In addition to visiting the factory, they also enjoyed local customs and, among other things, celebrating a dinner at the Aitzaki Society of the Old Town.
Sicam, which takes place from 16 to 19 October in Pordenone (Italy), is the most important annual event in the sector in Europe and celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. Indaux has participated in all of the previous fairs and this year, along with the main solutions in its portfolio, the company will present three new products:
– The Junior Co is a revolution in the field of coplanar doors, since it will open up this system for use with supported doors. Until now, the coplanar solution was aimed at high-end cabinets with suspended doors, designed to measure. The proposal that Indaux will present exclusively in Sicam is a standard system which can be applied in cabinets of any size, so it will also be distributed in shops and department stores. In the aesthetics of coplanar cabinets pure lines prevail and all the doors are at the same level.
– The 35mm spiral cam of steel, which has a geometry similar to that of the Zamak and includes a plastic casing that forms a cover trim. It has the same features as the Zamak and offers cost efficiency.
– The Ariane S drawer, which is a thin-walled drawer, with an aesthetic very much in line with the current requirements of the market. It runs on the same platform as the Ariane slide, with the same advantages of smooth and silent sliding and cushioned closing.
