Barshin Co., Indaux product distributor in Iran, participated in the new edition of the Salon Medex, held in Tehran from the 18th to 21st February. Medex is the most important fair in Iran for wood, machinery, interior design and accessories. The Barshin stand, with over 100 square meters, exhibited a wide range of Indaux products: ARIANE, Indaux’s new drawer composition system, the ATLAS system as well as samples of spiral cams, hangers and assemblies. ATLAS and ARIANE specifically, provoked great interest.

Indaux centralizes all the functions of product creation and development at its Getaria head office which were previously shared between two work centres. That way, Ander Arrillaga moves to the general offices from the Aia plant. The R&D department also provides technical assistance services to both sales representatives and the rest of the organization.

Indaux attended one again the Zow Bad Salzuflen trade show, an annual fair, which was held from the 6th to the 9th February. During this edition of the German Furniture Fitting Show, more than 200 International clients met with Indaux management, to discover the latest product proposals of the company from Getaria.

The following developments were presented at the booth:

ARIANE, smoothness of movement with an extra smooth INDAmatic

The ARIANE drawer system was the star product, receiving the majority of the enquiries made by visitors to the Basque Company. ARIANE is an extremely versatile system, with 3-drawer side heights (84, 116 and 172 mm) and is equipped with new synchronized high precision full extension runners, created especially for the ARIANE. These Runners have a 50 kg carrying capacity, are extremely smooth and are assisted by the incorporated INDAmatic for a gradual and silent closing system.

It also important to emphasize the 172 mm high drawer side, a high one piece drawer side with refined lines and easy assembly, resulting in that no extra accessories need to be added. This drawer side is optimal as for the storage of Kitchenware. It allows a simple way to organize or remove heavy plates with minimal effort when opening the Kitchen Drawer less than 2 Kg is needed.

The ATLAS system and applications of soft closing INDAmatic

The second outstanding product on show was the ATLAS system for fixing suspended cabinets. ATLAS is really a unique product; it is not quite a hanger, but is more of a support unit for wall cabinets which suffer from a leverage effect, often equipped with a large number of drawers, baskets and heavily loaded removable elements, especially in the kitchen. The ATLAS set (upper and lower support) allow the installation of suspended cabinets with drawers to a maximum security having both height and depth adjustment. The ATLAS system highlight, is that it resists to both vertical and horizontal overloads.

The applications of soft closing INDAmatic

INDAmatic soft close system applications were also exhibited at the Indaux stand. INDAmatic is now more progressive and quiet than ever, offering maximum comfort and ease of use thanks to its minimum opening force. Applicable to both more economic drawers and slides ranges to Top of the range sliding doors systems.

ExpoPromueble was held in the month of January, one of the industry’s main events in the Mexican furniture sector. Indaux products were present at this event at the Industrial Guillas stand, distribution company for its fixtures in the North American country for over two decades. In this edition of the Mexican fair, Indaux exhibited an ample sample of its range of products like the MARC runner, applications of the INDAmatic system, IMPULSE, the ARIANE drawer and other innovations.

Industrial Guillas, founded by Manuel Domínguez, is the exclusive representative of the Basque company’s fixtures in Mexico. Manuel Domínguez, of Galician decent, has spent approximately 30 years in Mexico providing service and consulting furniture manufacturers on fixtures and manufacturing systems, making him a key figure in the sector. Two years ago his son, Manolo Domínguez, joined the business, ensuring continuity in the close relationship with Indaux for at least another 20 years.
