The R&D department at Indaux is a pioneer in the search for solutions to satisfy the demands of the furniture industry. Proof of this are 200 patents and utility models registered by Indaux over its 50 years of history. With the aim to ensure the monitoring and control of this technological effort, Indaux has an Industrial Property and Technological Watch management area within its R&D department coordinated by Javier Garrido.
Indaux registered its first patent in 1965, which consisted of a mechanism to fix boards, the forerunner to the current spiral cam, in addition, the company protected its trademark in 1970. Indaux currently has 43 patents in force (5 in the process), the spiral cam, the TRASER-6 hanger, the INDAMATIC self-closing system and its version for sliding doors stand out among them.
