The spiral cam connecting fitting is a product patented by Indaux, and has gained widespread acceptance throughout its commercial life. It is a system for joining panels which consists of two faces linked with a spiral, which allows it to handle the tolerance issues in the machining of the furniture and to withstand the vibrations that occur, for example, during transport.
Given the great volatility in the price of zinc and consequently that of Zamak, Indaux decided to manufacture a cam connecting fitting in steel. The result is a final product with the same technical characteristics, but with a more stable cost. In addition, this model is encapsulated in a plastic casing that replaces the cover cap, which means additional savings.
